KULTURKAMPF Existence EP 7"

The second EP from this young band from upstate NY delivers four tracks of raw and brutal crust. The influences on this EP are much more varied than on the first, with crunchy CELTIC FROST metal riffs exploding into all out grinding thrash. The recording is raw and the musicianship has a certain quirky sloppiness to it. Add this to the really DIY packaging and you get the refreshing feeling that they're trying to reach beyond their current abilities, improve upon themselves, and haven't quite reached their full potential yet.  This really reminds me a lot of the late 80's / early 90's crust demos (AXEGRINDER, GLYINE MAX, A//SOLUTION, HELLBASTARD) where things were innovating rather than the current pool of stagnation we wallow in today.  These are all on white vinyl (only 100 made) and are hand numbered from a first pressing of 300 copies total.
